Space Riccione is the superclub that brought the Ibiza legend to the hills of the Romagna Riviera. A direct heir to the iconic Space Ibiza — five-time winner of DJ Mag's best club in the world — it opened in June 2024 on the site that previously housed Prince and Musica, two venues that shaped the history of Riccione's nightlife. Space is more than a nightclub: it's a project born from the partnership between ECulture and the Cipriani Group, designed to deliver an international-level clubbing experience with cutting-edge production and an artistic programme unmatched on the Adriatic coast.

If it's your first time, this is the practical guide: what you'll find inside, how the different areas work, how to get tickets, how to get there and what to expect from the night. Just the things you actually need to know.

What to expect inside Space Riccione

Space is built around four distinct areas, each with its own sound and atmosphere. The Arena is the beating heart of the club: the main room where the big names play, with a sound system and a visual and lighting setup that turn every night into a sensory experience. The Garden is the outdoor area, perfect for catching your breath between sets without losing the thread of the music. The Terrace offers a panoramic view over the hills and out to the sea — ideal for an aperitivo or for the sunset DJ sets during daytime events. The Lounge is the most intimate and private zone, for those looking for a more laid-back setting.

Total capacity is around 5,000 people, and when the venue is full the energy is staggering. The music ranges from techno to house, from trance to afro house, with a programme that changes every weekend depending on the guest and the format. This is not a venue for mainstream hits: people come here for quality electronic music, extended DJ sets and a clubbing experience that hadn't existed on the Riviera for a long time.

When it's open

Space Riccione is open mainly on Fridays and Saturdays during the summer season, from late May to September. In winter the schedule is more sporadic, with openings for special events and holidays. Daytime events (festivals, opening parties) start around 4:00 pm and run into the night. Regular evenings open around 10:00 pm and close between 4:00 and 6:00 am, depending on the event.

Key events 2026

The 2026 season kicks off with the Space Festival Opening Fiesta on 31 May and 1 June 2026: two days of electronic music that officially launch the summer. The Space opening is now one of the most anticipated events of the year on the Riviera — in 2025 it featured Carl Cox and Black Coffee as headliners, which gives you an idea of the calibre to expect.

During the summer of 2025, Space hosted some of the biggest names on the global scene: David Guetta, Carl Cox ("Carl Cox Invites" event), Boris Brejcha, Fisher, Martin Garrix for the Notte Rosa, and international brands such as Music On, Circoloco and Afterlife. The 2026 season promises to be even more ambitious, with double the number of nights compared to the previous year.

Tickets, tables and presales

Ticket prices vary significantly depending on the night and the guest artist: standard entry for regular nights starts at around €20–40, but for major events and special festivals it can rise considerably (ticket releases are tiered, so the earlier you buy the less you pay). VIP tickets give access to a raised reserved area next to the DJ stage, with dedicated pricing.

Online presale is always the best option: it's cheaper than buying at the door, it skips the queue, and for sold-out events it's often the only way in. Tickets are available at spacericcione.com and through authorised platforms (Ticketnation, Event Destination, Riviera Discoteche).

For a table booking, Space offers "Space Boxes" — reserved spots with a bottle, entry and a prime position. Prices vary depending on proximity to the DJ booth and the event. Book days (sometimes weeks) in advance by contacting the venue or official promoters.

💡 Pro tips for a stress-free visit

Space Riccione is a top-tier experience, but it has its own logic. These tips will save you surprises and help you make the most of the night.

1. For daytime events, arrive early: festivals and opening parties start at 4:00 pm, and the magic moment is the sunset DJ set, between 8:00 and 10:00 pm, when the Terrace lights up with the evening glow over the Riviera. Don't miss it by arriving late.

2. For evening events, aim for 1 am: the venue opens at 10:00 pm but before midnight it's still warming up. The sweet spot is between 12:30 and 1:30 am: the music has built up, the Arena is filling and you have the whole night ahead. For major events it's worth arriving earlier, as the queue after 1 am can get long.

3. Always buy presale tickets: buy online from the official website or authorised platforms. You'll save money compared to the door, skip the queue, and for big nights it's the only guarantee of getting in. Save the QR code on your phone.

4. Dress smart: Space is not a beach bar. No flip-flops, vest tops or shorts. The vibe is smart casual: clean trainers are fine, black is always a safe bet. For daytime events the dress code is more relaxed but still put-together.

5. Getting there and back: Space is in the hills — you can't walk from the centre. If you don't have a car, shuttle services run during main nights, connecting the station, Riccione town centre and the main hotels to the club. Alternatively: taxis (factor them into your budget — the ride back at dawn isn't cheap). If you're driving, arrange a designated driver: police checks on the main road after club nights are frequent, and drink prices inside are set to encourage moderation.

6. ID is mandatory: entry is restricted to over-18s and checks at the door are strict. Always carry your ID, even if you think you look old enough. For some events the age limit may vary: check the event page before you go.

7. Explore all the areas: Space isn't a single room. Move between the Arena, Garden, Terrace and Lounge during the night: each area has its own sound and atmosphere, and discovering them all is part of the experience. The Terrace at night, with the view over the lights of the coastline, is worth the ticket price on its own.

Practical information

Getting there: Space Riccione is at Viale Trebaci 49, in the hills above Riccione. By car from Bologna or Ancona, take the A14 exit at Riccione and follow signs towards the hills — just a few minutes from the motorway. From Rimini or other coastal towns, the easiest route is the train to Riccione station, then a shuttle, taxi or organised transfer.

Parking: there are parking areas near the venue. During major events they fill up fast, so arrive early or leave the car in the town centre and take the shuttle up.

Shuttle and taxi: on peak nights, shuttle services run between Riccione station, the town centre and the main hotels to Space, with rides throughout the night. Riccione taxis operate continuously during weekend nights. The shuttle is the safest and most convenient way to get home after the night.

Table and VIP bookings: for tables, Space Boxes, guest lists and hotel + entry packages, contact the venue directly by email at welcome@spacericcione.com or through authorised promoters. For the biggest events, book weeks in advance.

Bars and drinks: Space has several bar points serving cocktails, beer and soft drinks. Prices are in line with a high-end club. No outside drinks allowed.

Space Riccione is the closest thing to an international clubbing experience you'll find on the Adriatic coast. The Arena vibrating under your feet, the visuals lighting up above you, the sunset from the Terrace with the Riviera spread below: this isn't just any nightclub — it's the club that brought Ibiza to Riccione. Get prepared, buy your ticket in advance and enjoy the night — or the afternoon, because here they dance in the sunshine too.
