The Cocoricò in Riccione needs little introduction: it's the club with the glass Pyramid, one of the world's temples of electronic music, a place where anyone who matters on the international techno and house circuit has played at least once. Open since 1989 on the first hills of Riccione, it's still the reference point for those looking for a real night out on the Riviera, not just any ordinary evening.

If it's your first time, this is the practical mini guide to arrive prepared: how to buy tickets, what to wear, how to get there, what to expect once you're inside. No fluff, just what you really need to know.

Cocoricò Riccione, the club with the glass Pyramid

What to expect inside the Cocoricò

The heart of the venue is the Pyramid, the main room topped by the iconic glass structure that lights up with visuals and lighting effects at night. This is where the biggest names in world techno and house play, on one of the most powerful sound systems in Europe, with a dance floor that becomes one single body when it fills up. Around the Pyramid there are other rooms and themed areas featuring different sounds, from tech house to more experimental formats, so you can move from one environment to another depending on the energy of the night.

This is not your typical aperitivo and chart hits club: people come to the Cocoricò for electronic music, for long DJ sets, for the atmosphere. The crowd is mixed, from 18 year olds upwards, with a strong international component during the biggest events. Nights start late, around midnight, and go on until early morning, so plan accordingly.

When it's open

The Cocoricò runs almost all year round, with a calendar that intensifies during the warmer months. In summer the club is open on Fridays and Saturdays; in winter mainly on Saturdays, plus fixed dates on long weekends and holidays. The big events the Pyramid never misses are Easter, Halloween, New Year's Eve and Ferragosto (August 15th), legendary nights that draw crowds from all over Europe and for which booking well in advance is strongly recommended.

Main events 2026

The 2026 season opens with the Cocoricò Easter Experience, from April 4 to 6, 2026: three days of electronic music that traditionally kick off the season. Among the announced names are Charlotte de Witte, Enrico Sangiuliano, Joseph Capriati back to back with Chris Stussy, and Dutch duo Anotr for the closing daytime session.

On April 24 the Galactica format returns, dedicated to harder techno, with guests like Nico Moreno and Dyen. In early May, on May 1 and 2, 2026, it's the turn of Music On, the format signed by Marco Carola, two days with a lineup that includes BLOND:ISH, Franky Rizardo and Seth Troxler.

From June onwards the fixed Friday and Saturday summer programming kicks in, intensifying in July and August with international guests and the big Ferragosto appointments. For the updated calendar and confirmed names, the reference is the official website.

Tickets, tables and presales

Ticket prices vary depending on the night and the guest: on average the standard entry goes from 20 to 40 euros for regular nights, and rises significantly for the big events (Easter, New Year's Eve, Ferragosto and special festivals). The online presale is always the most convenient choice: it costs less than the door, saves you the queue and, for sold out events, is often the only way in.

If you want a table service, it's best to book days in advance (sometimes weeks for top events) by contacting the club's number or the official channels. The table includes entry, a reserved area and a bottle, with prices that vary a lot depending on the position relative to the Pyramid and the type of night.

💡 "Pro" Tips for a stress-free visit

The Cocoricò is a beautiful experience, but it has its unwritten rules. Following them makes the difference between a night to remember and one to forget in line outside.

1. Arrive late, but not too late: before midnight the club is half empty and the Pyramid hasn't come to life yet. The sweet spot to get in is between 00:30 and 01:30: the music is rising, the floor is filling up and you still have the whole night ahead. For the biggest events, however, it's wise to get there earlier: by 01:00 you may already find a queue.

2. Always buy presale tickets: buy online on the official website or on authorized portals (Ticketnation, Riviera Discoteche, Event Destination). You save money compared to the door, skip the queue and for the biggest nights it's the only guarantee of getting in. Save the QR code on your phone and keep it handy at the entrance.

3. Club chic dress code: the Cocoricò is not a beach venue. Forget flip-flops, tank tops and shorts: you'll be turned away. The vibe is smart casual creative, black always works, clean sneakers are accepted. For themed events (Halloween above all) dressing up is almost mandatory: go all in, people here don't hold back.

4. How to get back: the Cocoricò is up in the hills, you can't walk there from the center of Riccione. If you don't have a car, shuttle services run from the station and the town center on main nights, or you can take a taxi (factor it into your budget, the ride back at dawn isn't cheap). If you're driving, organize a designated driver: police checks along the main road after the nights are frequent and drink prices inside are set to make you sip slowly.

5. ID required: entry is forbidden to under 18s, and the checks at the door are serious. Always bring your ID card or passport, even if you think you look older. For specific events the limit can rise to 20 or 21, check the event page before leaving.

6. Cloakroom and phone: there's a paid cloakroom, use it: dancing with a jacket and backpack is a nightmare. Keep your phone in an inner pocket, not in the back of your trousers, and pay attention in the most crowded areas. Photos inside the Pyramid are allowed, but think twice before spending the night filming instead of dancing.

Practical Information

How to get there: the Cocoricò is located at Viale Chieti 44, on the first hills of Riccione. By car from Bologna or Ancona, take the A14 Riccione exit and follow signs for the hills, just a few minutes from the tollbooth. From Rimini or other coastal towns, the most convenient option is the train to Riccione station, then shuttle bus, taxi or local bus.

Parking: around the venue there are both free and paid parking areas. During the big events they fill up fast, so it's best to arrive a bit early to find a spot without driving around for half an hour. Alternatively, leave your car in central Riccione and take the shuttle.

Shuttle and taxi: on peak nights, shuttle services connect the center of Riccione, the station and the main hotels with the Cocoricò, running back and forth all night long. Alternatively, Riccione taxis operate non-stop during weekend nights.

Table and guestlist bookings: for tables, guestlists and hotel + entry packages, it's best to contact the club directly or write to the official social channels. For the biggest events booking should be made weeks in advance.

Bars and drinks: inside there are several bars serving cocktails, beers and soft drinks. Prices are those of a high-end club, set according to the event. Bringing in outside drinks is not allowed.

The Cocoricò is one of those experiences that, if you love electronic music, you have to do at least once in your life. The Pyramid lighting up above you, the bass hitting your chest, people dancing until dawn: it's not just any club, it's the club. Get ready, arrive with the right mindset and enjoy the night.
