Home / Aquafan Riccione

Aquafan is Italy's most famous water park and one of the most renowned in Europe. Covering 90,000 m² with its large pools and 3 km of slides, it offers a wide range of attractions for all ages. Located in the hills of Riccione, it is just 2 minutes by car from the A14 motorway exit and can be reached by bus line no. 58 departing from Riccione train station or from the Piazzale Curiel terminus.

Park attractions

Aquafan offers attractions for every taste, from families to thrill-seekers. The Wave Pool, a large pool that simulates ocean waves, is one of the most popular attractions. The Kamikaze, Black Hole and M280 are the park's most adrenaline-pumping slides. Recently inaugurated, Blue Rock is an island inside the Lazy River featuring a jacuzzi pool and areas of various sizes that can be booked for exclusive use — perfect for a private family or friends gathering (paid attraction).

Foam Party and entertainment

The park organises special evenings with events and shows. The most famous is the Foam Party, during which the large Wave Pool is transformed into an enormous foam-filled tank where guests dance and have fun in a surreal atmosphere. For over 20 years, the days at Aquafan have also been brought to life by music and guests from Radio DeeJay programmes, which relocates to Riccione every summer.

Children

The park features areas with slides and pools dedicated exclusively to children. Arca Beach consists of a large Noah's Ark to explore before sliding down into the pool via 4 chutes, while the Elephant Pool has slides suitable for toddlers and Antarctica Baby Beach recreates the landscape of the South Pole. Children under adult supervision are allowed access to the Wave Pool, Lazy River, Poseidon and Surfing Hill. The Strizzacool is open to children between 100 and 140 cm tall when accompanied by an adult. The remaining attractions are accessible from 12 years of age or 140 cm in height.

Dining

The park offers a wide choice of bars, restaurants and kiosks to satisfy every visitor's needs. Many food outlets include vegan and vegetarian options. Gluten-free menus are available at Bar Pascucci. Meals can also be enjoyed in dedicated picnic areas, shaded by gazebos.
