Sea lovers will be spoilt for choice. Those flocking to Riccione and its neighbourhoods will take advantage of plenty of opportunities. Whoever arrives at Riccione or the fully equipped nearby areas will be allowed to use several spots (access ways from shore) which are at the disposal of both expert and amateur.

If you are interested in kite surfing, then join the Mare Vela Club in Riccione (in Marano area by the ex colony Reggiana) which also provides a berthing service. Not far from there, the same service is offered by the Marine Club.

Heading toward the South there is another spot by zone 26, where you can also rent windsurfing boards, which you can do in the square named after those lost at sea - between zone 48 an 50- where you rent jet skis as well.

In Portoverde, in front of the restaurant La Lanterna and in Cattolica at the Club Nautico (beside Le Navi park) catamarans are also available.
For the less expert, the problem is solved in a weekend with a full-immersion course which will enable you to fly on the waves!
The sailing school with catamaran is reserved for a maximum of 4 people, the cost is 210euros, fee inclusive of theory course, theory guide book and excursions. No particular equipment is needed (info line 335-340588; 0541-308434).
Finally, we inform all the water sports lovers that your meeting point is in Rimini, at the Bunker, in correspondence to Kennedy square and Marina

Among the submerged wonders, for the lovers of ancient relics, you can't miss the platform Parugo, sunk during the sixties, and a lot more to be admired for experts and amateurs of marine biology and archaeology
