An OCCASION TO DISCOVER Flavours and COLORS Of EMILIA ROMAGNA

The initiative "Open Small farms" has in 2007 reached its ninth season. It is a particularly important goal for an event that, year after year, involves an increasing number of interested visitors who want to see how an agricultural company works, to discover where the food that we daily find on the table comes from and how it is produced. We particularly advise you to visit these small farms during this week but if you cannot, do not hesitate to contact us ( below you will find a list of all the farms around our area). The 240 agricultural companies involved (in all the Emilia Romagna) will receive visitors on the 13th and 20th May 2007. Between these 132 they are also small teaching farms, that is agricultural companies that receive groups and classes during the whole year, 115 are dedicated to biological agriculture, 90 carry out agricultural activities and 210 intend to directly sell their own produce. It is a significant sight of the regional agricultural reality, of its evolution and the ability of entrepreneurs to cope with changes in society without failing to find value in their own job. Season 2007 offers a greater range of proposals in order to support the alliance of our agricultural and food- productions and to consolidate the relationship between citizens and the rural world. Below you have full contact details of the companies involved in the province of Rimini with a brief description of their main activities. The offer is particularly wide and stimulating: guided visits, walks on foot, horse-riding or bicycle to get to know the area and the productive business techniques, accompanied by music, games, and demonstartions for children and adults, including tasting. The organisation "Open Small farms" is also connected to the competition “the site of food”, which, after the great success obtained in previous seasons, has now opened a third section dedicated to kids. We count, therefore, on your numerous presence and we want to thank once again the Agriculturists of the "Open Small farms" who, as always, will receive the visitors with the maximum courtesy and will allow everyone to spend two pleasant and interesting days in the open air!

How to find us. from Santarcangelo take the Provincial Road towards Borghi. After 6 km, at Ciola - Stradone, at the junction for Borghi keep the left, then take the first road on the left after the junction.
