Easter in Riccione: the tourist season starts again

The amusement parks open a few days earlier and most hotels arrange their seasonal opening for Easter as a dry run for the summer. Shops located in the central avenues are open and on the beaches (yet to be fully organised) the lifeguards, while completing the organization of the bathing establishments, are ready to welcome tourist with sun beds. Many religious celebrations take place close to the churches and in the main squares and on Ascension Sunday the city is invaded by thousands of tourists who arrive from all parts of Europe in order to look for a hotel or flat (independent or within a residence) for the summer holidays.
