If it is true that if the bathing season starts with the bank holiday of the 2nd June in Riccione, the tourist season with full services starts at Easter in Riccione and in the last few years, especially since Riccione’s new amusement parks: Oltremare and IMAX have joined the already famous Aquafan, there is also the opportunity to choose the Green Pearl for just a festival day, maybe during one of the long Spring weekends. For those who do not have the chance to reach Riccione during the Easter holidays, the choice of hotel or residence to spend the summer holidays is increasingly postponed until the long Spring weekends of the 25th April in Riccione or to the following and more famous one, the 1st of May.
When the summer finally comes, all the tourists are infected by the inhabitants’ enthusiasm and, between a night out (in a disco in Riccione) and an aperitif on the beach there is always room for everybody. Even if it is impossible to find a last minute hotel offer in the middle of August, which is the hottest period of the summer, both for the weather and the presence of thousands of tourists who having abandoned the big cities, look for refreshment from the summer heat and their city jobs in a city that makes of the hospitality and the attention on the tourist its mission.
When the summer is over, the night life and opportunities to visit Riccione for tourism or work (more and more companies organise their conventions and congresses here) do not end, and certainly the most interesting occasion to visit Riccione and its beach (this time with covered feet) are surely All Saints bank holiday at the start of November or Christmas holidays are the period in which most hotels reopen to arrange themselves around the many tourist events organized in Rimini, Riccione and in the many town councils of the Romagna hinterlands.
Decide to attend your own holidays in Riccione is a choice motivated by the easy living, you can come and move in Riccione by car, by bus, by train, by plane or bike (it's your call).
